This is the kind of weather you can ride 6 days in-sunny, crisp air, delightful.

The remainder of our bike tour was spent riding along the coast of Southern California, from Dana Point to San Diego, and to Long Beach and Laguna.

It was a big bummer that we didn’t get to ride the initial planned route, but fuck it.  As someone who plans too much, I learned a good lesson: that you can plan whatever you want and the weather can come it and completely screw you. 

Trip Revised

Oh Hai internet.  After taking my leisurely time, here are some updates from our tour/vacation. After riding two days through a heavy storm, against crippling head winds, we were rained out.

Some of the roads were out on Highway 1 and the biggest storm of 2010 was attacking the West Coast and we were traveling south with it.  Typical.   So we did what sane people do, and revised our trip, getting to Southern California quicker than we planned to avoid the storm.
