Babes on Bikes

No big deal, just a little photo spread on my motorcycle gang in The Bold Italic.

Touring

Beautiful, custom bikes by MAP Bicycles in Portland.

Oh Hai!

It’s that time again!

Leisure season.  Time to get out on the bike, get on the boat and live the dream.

Tomorrow we ride!

OMG! Long Beach here we come!

FACT: Today Ruled.

The Giants World Series Parade was today in SF and the whole City lost it’s shit.  Being a Friend of the Library, we got to watch from inside the Main branch and me and a really awesome teen librarian snuck up onto the roof to really take in the celebration.

I got back to the street party, went to the ATM machine and it spit out a $100 bill at me before I had even put in my card.  (Which, by the way, I didn’t even have with me!)

I am now the proud owner of a  “FUCK YEAH!” shirt.

Today has been completely unreal and I’m so stoked to live in San Francisco.

Now, can those of you who don’t, get the fuck out?  KTHXBIE.

This is Halloween

A toast to me

A champagne toast to me, the birthday girl, during a sunset sail on Halloween.  Also, my costume ruled.

Little Miss Boulder, Co.

Thanks to all my friends for making my 27th birthday rule so hard!  More awesome pics from our sail and our weekend most epic after the jump! Continue reading

I love them both.

Officially a moderate weather Giants fan after watching this.

Fuck Yeah!

Black Metal Cookies

Black Metal Cookies

My mom came to visit and brought me homemade sugar cookies with frosting.  Yesterday we had a decorating party and they turned out beautiful.    More awesome cookies after the jump! Continue reading

Recent Fortune

“I really have infinite faith in my fellow human being to do the right thing. If people listen, give each other the benefit of the doubt, and assume the best of each other, all else will fall in line. We want, in our heart of hearts, to do the right thing.

It’s just that sometimes our fears and suspicions overtake us. Which makes empathy necessary. Empathy leads to more ethical and moral behavior.”

–Dave Eggers, in the acknowledgements of his latest nonfiction and this year’s One City One Book selection, Zeitoun.

Tonight, he’ll be at the San Francisco Main Library on talk about Zeitoun in a live interview with Beth Lisick.  Should be a great event, so I am bummed I’ll have to miss it due to my prior engagement to SHARKTOBER FEST!
